RECOGNISED STANDARD 11 INDUCTION SURFACE UPGRADE

This skill set has been designed for participants wanting to renew  their Surface Induction to the new Recognised Standard 11 (Valid 5yrs), although various mine site compliances may require it to be refreshed every two (2) years.  At the  completion of the upgrade, and your Recognised Standard 11 Workbook or the submission of your supporting documentation for assessment, your requirements for continued access will be met. This new Recognised Standard  11 will include all updated industry changes/advancements that  have taken place in the industry since the completion of your initial  course.

Prerequisites:
Current industry-accepted certificate and or card. Expired induction qualifications will require evidence and will be based on individual circumstances.

What to bring:
A copy of your previous Generic/Induction, a current Skills Report with Site Induction and Standard Operating Procedures, a workplace example of a SLAM or TAKE 5 or a simular site specific process you have completed and one or more of the following: JRA, Pre-vehicle inspection,Toolbox Talk documentation, record of a hazard identification or housekeeping procedures as applied in your place of work.

Qualification awarded upon successful completion: A Statement of Attainment for partial completion of RII20309 CERTIFICATE II IN UNDERGROUND COAL MINING (once participants have completed and returned the Workplace Assessment Booklet).
